Major and minor cruciform göls in dark blue and ruby have their ivory and apricot outlines arranged in colour-matching diagonal rows against a rich chestnut brown field, within an ivory main border of interlocking cruciforms between dark rose guards, a plain dark brown elem panel beneath. Torbas were compact storage bags used for carrying small possessions such as jewellery, and were made with considerable attention to quality, as exhibited in the balanced composition and clear drawing of this example.
